There are a few basic things needed for your AD Module to work properly, and then there are some optional components to use.

The items required for the AD Module to work properly:

  1. AD module (Click here for instructions on how to add a new module)
  2. A page to display your ADs.(click here for info on adding a new page)  On that page you will need:
    1. AD : Item list frame (if you are not going to have a "search results" page then you will want to make set the "ads listed" to "search results")
    2. Full Text Search Box for the AD Module

See Screenshot:

     3. Ads(by default they are called Items) (you will need to create ads to be displayed)

     4. Locations.  This can be named to something different if you wish to use something other than locations as the organizational unit for the ads. (think of them like categories)

Those are the most basic components needed to get your Ads up and running.  Here are some optional frames that can be added

  1. Ad : Category Description
  2. Navigation Menu's can be linked to category's or items.  This is helpful in creating a custom menu for your AD module.
  3. Category list.  This frame has many great features.  When set to "Show Locations" "level by Level" it gives the affect of breadcrumbs.

See screenshot:

    4. Rate an AD.  You can have ratings for your ADs

    5. AD Reviews.  You can have Reviews for your ADs
